Biographie von Susanne Hauser

Susanne Hauser (geboren 1946) lebt in Weesen und beschäftigt sich seit den 80iger Jahren mit der Malerei.
Seit 1990 sind ihre Werke regelmässig in Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen im In- und Ausland zu sehen. 

Galerien und Institutionen in Zürich, Venedig, Lugano, St. Moritz, Köln, New York und Philadelphia haben Werke aus verschiedenen Schaffensperioden gezeigt. Die Kunsthäuser in Glarus, das Swiss Institute in New York und der Kunstverein Freiburg iBr gehören  zu den Institutionen, die ihre Arbeiten schon gezeigt haben. Nationale und internationale Kunstmessen, mit Galerienvertretungen,  zeigten malerische Arbeiten und Collagen.

2004 gewann Susanne Hauser den "Fokus-Preis" des Glarner Kunstvereins. 2006 folgte eine Einzelausstellung mit Katalog im Kunsthaus Glarus und die Biografie "Malerei aus Leidenschaft" bei Gellius. Im  Jahr 2003 gewann Susanne Hauser den ersten Preis für Grafik für die  Olympiade in Athen, mit Ausstellungen im Olympiamuseum und Athen.

Seit 2009 konzentriert sich Susanne Hauser auf das Zeichnen. 2011 ist sie zur Gruppenausstellung "(Re)Constructed" - Gedenkausstelung zu 150 Jahren Brand von Glarus, in Kunsthaus Glarus eingeladen worden. Die gezeigten Arbeiten standen unter dem Motto "constructive destruction". Sie zeigten auf, dass in der Zerstörung kreatives Potenzial liegt. Dies am Beispiel des Brandes, der zu einer visionären Stadtentwicklung geführt hat.

2012 ist Susanne Hauser zur Biennale in Dublin eingeladen worden. Die jurierte Ausstellung zeigt Werke von 23 Künstlern aus 50 Ländern. Die Thematik der ausgestellten Installation ist "planets .... we are not alone" und erinnert an die nötige Bescheidenheit der Menschen und die unvorstellbare Kraft des Universums.
2012: Gewinn des Murano Prizes mit 2 Planetenbildern; Forschung und Entwicklung für innovatives Glasdesign mit der Ausstellung von 2 Skulpturen vom 25.8.12 bis 16.9.12 in der Chiesa di Santa Maria della Misericordia in Venedig

2013: Einladung zur Design Week in Florenz vom 20. bis 26.5.2013, Beteiligung an der Skulpturenausstellung in der Villa Engi und Gruppenausstellung "Glarner Kunstschaffende" im Kunsthaus Glarus mit einer Werkgruppe "Märchen, Mythen, Träume". Eröffnung des eigenen Schaulagers "Susanne Hauser" mit sporadischen, thematischen  Ausstellungen. Start am 14.12.13 mit "Flowers in Love" zum Andenken an die vielen Benachteiligten in der Gesellschaft. Schwerpunkt: Die ArbeiterInnen in der Textilindustrie, die Asbestzopfer sowie die Verdingkinder.

2014: Der Schwerpunkt liegt beim eigenen Schaulager. Es werden sporadisch thematische Ausstellungen durchgeführt. Die erste Oeffnung zeigt das Thema "Das Gras wachsen hören." Es geht um die Symbolik der Gräser, die rund 20% der Fauna ausmachen. Sie stehen für die Sensibilität und den Spürsinn für Veränderungen in unserer Welt. Ausstellung im Kunstraum Aarau "Keine Systeme" vom 10. bis 22.8.14. Ausstellung im Skulpturengarten Villa  Engi vom 15.6. bis 18.10. Ausstellung im Kunst(zeug)haus, Rapperswil vom 30.11.14 bis zum 8.2.15.

2015: Einzelausstellung im Museum Bickel; 27.9.15  bis 29.11.15  - "Dialogues withd Time and Infinity" - Das Museum Bickel hat zum zeichnerischen Werk der letzten 7 Jahre eine Monografie herausgegeben.

2016: jurierte Gruppenausstellung im Kunsthaus Glarus: Kunstschaffen Ausserordentlich - New Glarus - eine thematische Ausstellung zur Auswanderung der Glarner um 1850 in die USA. Meine Wekrgruppe: Over the Ocean. Die Ausstellung dauert vom 6.12.15 bis zum 24.1.16

Susanne Hauser, born 1946, lives in Weesen, Switzerland. Since the 80 she works as artist - first in the field of painting. Since 1990 her works are regularly seen in solo- and group shows in Switzerland and abroad. Since 1990 I make sketches and collages to socio political topics. Before my career as artist I was teacher and trained my painting abilities at the "Opernhaus in Zürich" in scenography.

Galleries and institutions in Zurich, Venice,  Lugano, St. Moritz, Cologne, New York, Philadelphia showed her paintings from different periods. The Art Museum in Glarus, Switzerland, the Swiss Institute in New York and the Art Museum in Freiburg, Germany, belong to the institutions who showed her works. National and international Art Fairs, with gallery representations, showed paintings and collages.

2004 Susanne Hauser won the "Fokus-Price" in the Art Museum Glarus. 2006 she had a solo show with catalogue in Glarus, followed by the biografie "painting with passion" by Gellius. 2003 Susanne won the first price for grafics at the Olympic Games in Athen, followed by exhibitons in the Olympic Museum in Lausanne and in Athen.

Since 2009 Susanne Hauser produces drawings. 2011 she was invited to the commemorative exhibition "Glarus City burned 150 years ago" - The motto of her drawings in this international exhibition was "constructive destruction". She showed the high potenzial in destruction and the contribution to the development of a visionary city.

2012 Susanne Hauser is invited to the Dublinbiennal where she shows works to the motto: "planets .... we are not alone". It is a memory to the necessary modesty of human beeings and the unimaginale power of the universe.
2012 Susanne wins the Murano Prize for research and experimentation in innovative art and glass design, folllowed by the exhibition of sculptures and plates  at Chiesa di Santa Maria della Misericordia, Venice from 08.25.12 till 09.16.12 

2013: Invitation to the Florenz Design Week from 20.-26.5.2013, sculpture show in the garden "villa Engi" and Artist form the canton of Glarus at the Museum of Glarus with: tales, myths and dreams - a forgotten language (Erich Fromm)

2014: Exhibition in the art-room in Aarau, Switzerland and in the art museum "Kunst(zeug)haus in Rapperswil, Switzerland with the work group "Silk"

2015: Soloshow in the museumbickel,  Switzerland with the monografy  "Dialogues between time and infinity", published by the museumbickel

2016:  Juried groupshow in the Art Museum of Glarus, Switzerland: New Glarus - the exhibition focuses on the theme of emigration in 1850 after the US. My contribution ist the topic "Over the Ocean" - 6th of December until 24th of January 2016
